Testing and Playing Worlds

Use local testing, published builds, and Voxly Player launches to make sure your world feels good.

Test locally first

Use Studio to test the world while you build. Local testing is best for checking spawn placement, scale, movement paths, touch sensors, and scripts before players see the update.

A world should have a safe spawn, a readable first view, and one clear thing for players to do before it is promoted publicly.

Play from the website

When a world is published and playable, the world page shows Play. Clicking Play launches Voxly Player and loads the published bundle for that world.

If a world is not ready, the website should show a clear unavailable state instead of sending players into a broken launch.

Baseline checks

  • Players spawn on solid ground and do not fall through the world.
  • The first camera view shows the main path or landmark.
  • Jump tests and stairs match the current avatar movement feel.
  • Important touch sensors still work if they are transparent.
  • The world thumbnail matches the experience players are about to enter.
